Fouladi Projects presents The Prieto Family Show: A Growing Tradition of Artistry. On view will be new and historical work spanning three generations of Prieto family artists: ceramics by Antonio Prieto, Eunice Prieto Damron, and Mark Prieto, as well as hand-blown glass by Esteban Prieto, wood and stone pieces by Paco Prieto, porcelain ware by Nori Obata, screen prints and zines by Laurel Prieto, plus my own written contributions. The exhibition will be on view June 9th – July 10th. Opening reception for the artists: June 12th, 6 – 8pm.

On May 7th, the Mentor Writing Committee at Portland State University will offer training for instructors who wish to develop their students’ writing through peer review. We will focus on various methods and approaches to conducting successful peer review workshops.
Spring MFA Reading Series
Developing Student Writing: Attitudes, Best Practices, and Creative Support (ABCs)
On April 22nd, I will facilitate ABCs training for writing instructors on behalf of the Mentor Writing Committee at Portland State University. The workshop will focus on constructive attitudes and approaches to implementing writing assignments, different practices for different writing stages, as well as creative writing exercises.
